Visited for the national motor museum entry. Got my tickets online. Parking was free. Lots of cool cars. Spent a few hours there. Well worth it.

Nice day, easy going

Just went for the national motor museum entry with my partner. It was pretty chill. We saw all the film and tv cars, which was cool. The veteran bus rides were included, which was a nice surprise. Parking was easy. The whole place had a good vibe, not too crowded when we went. Ended up getting a few diecast model cars from the museum gift shop.

Good value, minor queue issues

We bought the beaulieu attraction tickets online for a family day out. The family ticket discount made it pretty good value compared to paying at the gate. The collection of classic cars was really impressive, especially the land speed record cars. My kids also enjoyed the monorail rides. My only minor gripe was the queue for the World of Top Gear exhibition; it moved a bit slowly. Overall, a solid experience, but they could probably streamline that specific entry point.

Amazing day out!

Oh my goodness, what a fantastic time we had at the National Motor Museum! The classic car collection was just incredible, and the kids absolutely loved the Little Beaulieu adventure play area. Everything was so well laid out, and the staff were all super helpful. We even did the Palace House tour which was an unexpected bonus. I will definitely be back next year for sure!

Good for the price paid

I was looking for cheap tickets for Beaulieu and managed to snag a family ticket discount by booking in advance online. The overall cost felt very reasonable for what you get. We spent most of our time in the National Motor Museum, checking out the motorcycle collection. I thought it was good value for money, especially compared to some other attractions I've been to recently. Didn't feel like I overpaid at all for the experience.

Comprehensive experience, good facilities

I booked the full beaulieu attraction tickets package which included the National Motor Museum entry, World of Top Gear, and the Palace House tour. The online booking process was straightforward, and I received my e-tickets immediately. Upon arrival, parking was plentiful and free. The museum itself is very well organized, with clear pathways and informative displays for the land speed record cars and the general classic car collection. The monorail was a nice touch for getting around the wider estate. Restroom facilities were clean, and there were several food options available, though we brought a picnic. The gift shop had a decent selection of motoring books. We spent a full day there, probably about 6 hours, and still didn't see absolutely everything. Re-entry was allowed with the ticket, which was convenient.

Is it worth going for the Supercar Weekend? Or is it just super crowded and hard to see anything?

S Sarah 2 months ago
Supercar Weekend is awesome if you love seeing those cars in action, but yeah, it gets packed. Go early if you want to get a decent spot and avoid some of the queues.

It's crowded but worth it for the atmosphere and the sheer number of cars you see. Just mentally prepare for the crowds, maybe bring some snacks to avoid long food queues.

Hey, thinking of heading down with the family. Do the tickets for the Motor Museum cover everything else at Beaulieu, like the Abbey and stuff?

I Ivy 1 month ago
Yeah, if you get the general admission ticket for the Motor Museum, it includes entry to the whole Beaulieu estate. So you get the Abbey, Palace House, and all that too. It's a pretty good deal tbh.

Yep, my family ticket covered the full shebang, monorail and all. No extra charges once you're in.

Anyone know if they do discounts for NHS staff? My partner works for the NHS and we're planning a trip soon.

I think they do! I saw something about a Blue Light Card discount on their site or when I was booking. Worth checking their specific 'deals' page.

Yeah, they definitely offer a Blue Light Card discount. Just make sure you have your card or proof ready when you book online or at the gate.

How long does it usually take to see everything? Trying to figure out if we need a whole day or if a half-day would be enough.

E Emma 2 months ago
Oh man, a whole day for sure if you want to see it properly. Especially if you hit the Top Gear stuff, the Abbey, and the house. We spent about 5-6 hours last time and still felt rushed.

Depends how into cars you are! If you're just whizzing through, maybe 3-4 hours for just the museum. But if you want to do the full Beaulieu experience, you'll need a full day.

Any tips for getting cheaper tickets? I'm looking to go with a few friends, maybe 4-5 of us.

S Sophie 2 months ago
Booking online in advance is usually cheaper than buying at the gate, like 10-20% off I think. And sometimes they have specific event early bird tickets.

Check if any of your friends have a Tesco Clubcard, you can sometimes use points for entry. Also, if you're a student, they do a student discount. It's all on their website.
